GOALS
48 community, regional and global mission projects
Connect action to our passion through completion of 48 community, regional and international mission projects before the end of 2012. In order to accomplish this task we will need participation from all segments of our congregation from children through adult. So far here are the list of completed mission projects (9 so far):
- Community Mission Projects
- • Basement reclamation project
- • Small Group DeGroff/Parkside will be assisting with monthly meals to Fairhaven Rescue Mission!
- • Both SG Linville and SG McCrann will participate in a drive for personal hygiene products to benefit the CARE Mission!
- • Sunday Morning Adult Mixed Adults will be collecting and delivering boxes of cereal for the benefit of the CARE Mission!
- • SG Fairly Recently Married Couples, SG Worship Leader TNT, and SG Pack/Toennis will all be collecting and distributing food for local schoolchildren in need to take home with them on the weekends!
- • SG 759 is doing an evangelistic distribution of “Courageous” DVDs!
- • SG Nolan will collect funds for food tickets to the Children’s Hospital cafeteria and plans to distribute these to patient’s family members that may not be able to afford to eat!
- • SG Deaton assembled 21 personal hygiene kits for distribution to the men’s Emergency Cold Shelter of NKY!
- • SG Lauer is planning on serving a meal at the Ronald McDonald House!
- • SG Thursday Night Bible Study with a Side of “Spanish” Rice organized “Main Street’s Got Talent!” for the benefit of the Sanyati Baptist Hospital renovation project in Zimbabwe, Africa!
